Townhall.com has an interesting article about why efforts on the parts of states like Arkansas to redefine how the state casts its electoral votes for presidential elections could have some very nasty consequences. The abolition of the electoral college is one of those things that I would consider another definite step towards a society that is a pure democracy and away from one that is a republic.
